The App is designed to function locally on your device. All data generated by the App—including your custom drawn gestures, saved shortcuts, and user preferences—is stored securely in your device's local storage. We utilize an industry-standard encryption library (SQLCipher) to ensure your local gesture database remains encrypted and secure.

2. Prominent Disclosure regarding Accessibility Service API

To provide its core functionality, ABRA requires the use of the Android Accessibility Service API. We are bound by strict Google Play Developer Policies regarding this API. Here is a clear disclosure of how and why we use it:

Why do we need the Accessibility Service?

We use the Accessibility Service API strictly for the "Volume Key Gestures" feature. It enables the App to detect physical hardware button presses (specifically, Volume Up and Volume Down keys) even when the App is running in the background or the screen is off. This allows you to trigger your custom-defined shortcuts (like turning on the flashlight or opening a specific app) using physical buttons.

What does the Accessibility Service do?

• We DO listen for `KeyEvent` callbacks corresponding ONLY to the volume keys.
• We DO NOT use the Accessibility Service to observe your text input, read your screen content, or monitor your interactions with other applications.
• We DO NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any information obtained through this service. All keystroke detections are processed locally on the RAM and immediately discarded.

3. Use of Other Android Permissions

The App may request additional permissions strictly to execute the shortcuts you configure:

• Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to display the "Floating Dot" and the "Camera Notch" gesture areas over other applications, ensuring your gesture canvas is accessible globally. We do not use this permission to record your screen or intercept your touches outside the designated dot area.
• Device Hardware & Settings: The App may request permissions to control device hardware (like toggling Bluetooth, Flashlight, or WiFi) only when you explicitly create and trigger a gesture shortcut designed to perform that specific action.

4. Data Safety and Disclosures

In adherence to the Google Play Data Safety requirements, we confirm the following:

• No personal or sensitive user data is collected by the App.
• No user data is shared with third parties.
• No user data is transferred across the internet by our core services.

5. Third-Party Services (Google Play Billing)

The App contains an optional "Buy me a coffee" feature powered by Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases). When you make a voluntary donation, the payment is processed entirely and securely by Google Play. We do not collect, have access to, or store your payment card details, name, or Google Account information.
